founded by Mr. Everett Brandon and Dr. Henry Lucas.
1964
(December 4)
PACT formally established, began operating first programs.
1965
PACT Educational Clearinghouse
originated under the Educational Talent Search Program funded by the
U.S. Dept of Education.
1965
PACT began to administer their first
Economic Development Program.
1966
PACT launched the Small Business
Development Program.
1967
PACT obtained and administered its
first private scholarship funds.
1975
PACT sponsored San Francisco’s first
city wide College Day which occurred annually for five years.
1976
PACT co-founded CAL Regional
Development Corporation
1980
PACT administered Northern California’s first One Stop Center under the Office of Minority
Business Enterprise (OMBE).
1998
PACT acquired its second Talent
Search Grant.
2000
PACT acquired a Trio Dissemination
Grant, designed to replicate PACT’s services in three other youth
serving community agencies. |
